| HARELSON MECHANICAL 2006... these pics came from Dave Larson and are pretty cool. Directly below is a pump insalled at the fish diversion dam, in Red Bluff California. What is so neat about this pump is that it is designed to pump fish through at normal pumping speeds without harm to the fish. They are then held in a (duh) 'holding' pond, inspected and released into the wild. |

| Here is another very slick picture of Millwright rigging in action, from Dave Larson of Harelson Mechanical. (Harelson's info has changed...see contractore page for details). Tricky rigging through a window on the second floor. Machine weighs 33,000 lbs. Dave says the equipment elevator in the plant only allows a 5000 lb. fork truck on the floor that this baby will finally rest on. Union millwrights (yes, us!) had to get creative to get the job done SAFELY...and we did! |
